Charlottesville had a snow day today, so I had plenty of time to do one of my favorite things – wander aimlessly around town and take photographs. I am fortunate to live a mile and a half from the University of Virginia, and my office is only a five minute walk from the grounds. I never tire of walking through the university, with or without my camera. The Lawn and Rotunda are especially beautiful in the snow, and i was there early enough that it was quite peaceful, with only a few footprints and some ski tracks. Overall it was an exciting week – President Obama visited, UVA Men’s bball won yet another game, and we enjoyed 15 inches of snow. Crossing fingers that the power stays on.
